If you’re adding bacon to a sauce (like spaghetti carbonara) or something similar, this is not how you should prepare it.
If you want to consume large, wonderfully crispy, salty slices of bacon that aren’t drenched in grease, you should prepare it this way. That, in my opinion, makes for the ideal slice of bacon, and this technique consistently produces that.
To pull this off, you really only need two pieces of equipment. You must first have a baking sheet or sheet pan with a rim. Most people most likely possess that.
A wire rack is a piece of equipment that some individuals might not have unless they often bake. And not just any rack—it must be suitable for use in an oven. such as this one. These are inexpensive, so buying one just for bacon is worthwhile if you prepare it even once a month.
Simply place your wire rack on your sheet pan and arrange your bacon on in long strips.
Although it’s not required, I prefer to season my bacon very well with freshly ground pepper that has been coarsely ground.
Put the entire thing in a 400 degree oven for 12 to 15 minutes after the bacon has been placed on the wire rack. Don’t heat up your oven before cooking bacon because it should start out gently cooking.
PS. It’s usually preferable to start the bacon off cold when frying it in a skillet or pan.

This is quite simple to make, yet it looks and tastes incredibly sumptuous. Basically, prepare the bacon according to the following instructions without the ground pepper. Although I do enjoy the combination of chocolate and pepper, you should probably omit it to avoid offending anyone.

1) Employ pure maple syrup. If you’re unsure, check the ingredients. Only one should be present: maple syrup. Try it again if it contains corn syrup or high fructose corn syrup. These have the drawback of cooking differently on the bacon and being extremely sweet. Not optimal.
2) Leave out the maple syrup at first. By the time the bacon is done, it will have burned. Instead, fry the bacon only halfway before adding a thin drizzle of syrup to each strip before flipping.
The syrup will mostly evaporate after another 10 minutes of baking, leaving the bacon with just a faint hint of maple taste.
Once you learn the best bacon cooking technique, it’s incredibly tasty and very simple.
Add some brown sugar to each bacon strip when it has reached halfway through cooking.
The sugar will melt around the bacon as it finishes frying, creating this delectable sweet crust.
The sugar hardens as the bacon cools, making it even more crispy (which I enjoy), and the salty-sweet flavor combination is ideal.
