“Not everyone can consume that many beans in a single sitting,” she explains. “Consider how many whole chickpeas you’d eat for a dinner; it’s probably about 1/4 cup on your salad. When it’s ground into flour, though, you might receive two or three cups in a single meal. That’s a substantial chunk.”
